My photography group challenged itself to taking out of focus shots this week. While I found this extremely challenging for my "left-brained" self, I did take a few pics of the girls playing in the process which I do like. They're not quite oof shots, but since I don't know the proper terminology for this kind of pic (which I've grown to love!), I thought I'd call them "In Focus".
For my photography group, we decided to do a toy photography challenge (similar to this post). I had many good ideas, but I really struggled to capture what I had in my head. Overall, it was a really fun creativity and photography challenge...I had fun picturing where all these toys would be if they had a choice.
The best shot I could get without a wide angle lens since my baby had a death-grip on my hand in fear of all the animals. She finally found a friend in a baby goat that was worth letting go of one hand.
I've always loved food photography. Maybe it's because it marries two of my favorite things in life - food/cooking and photography? Here's my attempt at capturing the wonder that is the blood orange. I love the contrasting colors of the "bloody" pulp against the orange-red skin of the fruit.
I'm not sure which of these is my favorite...thoughts? Any ideas on how I could improve them?
I had an unexpected day home today which means I finally got around to shooting Squeak's nursery while trying to capture the tiny details of my littlest one - her delicate features, chubby little limbs, and impressive flexibility....
