V, W, and Y

Life got extremely busy here the last couple of weeks, and unfortunately, photo-taking and blogging had to take a back seat.  Here are the last few letters of our alphabet challenge....note, I still haven't taken one for X or Z yet.  I'm still hoping to put together a photo alphabet book for Squeaks, so maybe I'll get around to finding something creative for those two soon.

V is for Vase - a vase with bamboo my girls got me for Mother's Day

W is for Whale - taken with my point and shoot, so really I just got lucky here.

Y is for yellow - I'm obsessed with lemons right now!

Poor Zig is constantly serving as one of A's "friends" whom she needs to cover and help to sleep for naptime.

F is for...

I can't decide which flower picture I like best, so I'll post my favorites.  The first is of my front garden.  I love these little purple flowers!  

The roses below were taken on my way to work the other morning.  I literally stopped and smelled the roses :-) , and it was great!  Unfortunately, I only had my phone with me to take the pictures, but I still think they turned out beautifully!  

Which do you like best? I can only pick one to include in my Baby Alphabet book.

D is for....dog!!  And the best dog ever, at that.  Ziggy is the sweetest, funnest (that's a word, right??), smartest little companion ever.  He's moved all over the world with us, traveled to exotic places (and swam in every body of water he could in Europe! Mediterranean - check! Rhine River - check! Elbe River - check! Lake Balaton in Hungary - check! Just to name a few I can remember off-hand.), and is the best big dog-brother our girls could ask for.

Our sweet, lazy kitty has been under the weather lately, but at least it enabled me to take this picture without her getting too annoyed!
